So the plan was for me to spend christmas and new year's at my in-laws, but as it happens fate had other ideas!

Just a quick little post to wish you all a merry christmas, happy holidays, or just an awesome time!

My goal this week has been to turn the downstairs hallway into a cat paradise!

This week has been a lot of fun, because we have finally decided to adopt another cat next year!

…well, not yet exactly, but the decorations are here at least!

Last weekend I woke up one morning to see the entire world transformed from a wet decaying mess to a shining white wonderland. Time to clean out the chicken coop and find ways to entertain the chickens who won't go out in the snow!

This week has been nice and uneventful. Most of my time has been focused on work (the Secrets of Grindea production book is coming along nicely), and the rest has been spent with the pets or playing games with friends online. In other words, an ideal week!

After several weeks away from home there's a lot of stuff to do around the house and garden - including saving a small hedgehog!
